BBC has released a new sneak preview of Sherlock: The Abominable Bride, which is set in the 19th Century.

Taking a page from the first episode of BBC's Sherlock, Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Doctor Watson (Martin Freeman) are introduced by a mutual friend. Sherlock immediately tests the doctor's reflexes and is quite satisfied with them. Then Watson lets the super-sleuth know his qualification by telling him, "I'm an army doctor which means I can break every bone in your body while naming them."

Sherlock Holmes and Dr John Watson return on 1st January 2016, with The Abominable Bride. Airing on TV and in selected cinemas around the world. On BBC One in the UK and PBS Masterpiece in the US.
