The Walking Dead: Jeffrey Dean Morgan Confirms Playing Negan, Teases Appearance

Jeffrey Dean Morgan has publicly confirmed he will playing Negan on The Walking Dead for the first time while appearing on the ABC cooking show, The Chew.

"You may see me this season and then next year you'll see me, as well," Morgan started. "If you're familiar with the comic books, it's a role of a guy named Negan who sort of just kicks everybody's ass."

Well, he's not wrong.

If you're looking forward to Negan's appearance on The Walking Dead, you're not alone. "I'm looking forward to it," Morgan says. "It's gonna be fun." He is rumored to make that infamous issue #100 introduction come to life on the TV series in the season six finale which will be airing on April 5, 2016.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 PM ET.
