Game Of Thrones' The Mountain Demolishes Keg Toss World Record

In July of 2014, Hafthór Júlíus Björnsson, who plays Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane on HBO's highly-acclaimed fantasy television series Game of Thrones, set a Guinness World Record when he tossed a 27-pound beer keg 26 feet 4.93 inches (8.05 meters). On Saturday, he obliterated his own record.

While competing at Giants Live Sweden yesterday, the Icelandic strongman, who weighs 419 pounds and stands 6'9," bent down and took hold of a steel beer keg weighing 33lbs and flung it a remarkable 24 feet 6 inches (7.05 meters) into the sky.

"It was easy!" Björnsson exclaimed to Giants-Live.com after smashing the keg toss record. "I could have broken the roof. It was amazing to do this in front of the great crowd. Bring on Europe's Strongest Man!"
