The Captain America: Civil War goodies are spilling out and, now, a confirmation as to whether or not two fan-favorite Marvel characters are in the super hero feud flick has surfaced.

Read no further if you want to be surprised to see or not see Spider-Man and the Hulk in Captain America: Civil War next year!

It's no secret Marvel Studios always wanted Spider-Man to be a part of the Civil War movie. He, unlike Hulk, was a main player in their hit 2006 Civil War comic series.

Following a deal with Sony after the failure of Amazing Spider-Man 2, Marvel Studios acquired the rights to use Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but his exact debut was unclear - despite a 2017 standalone movie.

It wasn't until Robert Downey Jr. opened his mouth and spilled the beans about Spider-Man's involvement - or lack thereof - in Civil War.

"[Don] Cheadle and I are just going, 'Wow, dude, look at this.' We're now like the old guard, and our storyline carries real weight just because of our history in the [canon]," Downey said to EW. "But we're also looking around like, 'Who thought that Falcon and Black Panther and Ant-Man and now Spider-Man…?' I mean it's like wow, this thing is just crazy."

Spider-Man may not see a huge feature in the film but he will, however, be a part of the climactic super hero brawl to cap the movie.

In more basic words: Yes, Spider-Man is in Captain America: Civil War, as many of us suspected.

What about the Hulk? A few months ago Ruffalo said Downey told him he's be heading to Atlanta to film a part in the ensemble movie - but was that true? No.

"You put those guys in a fight, it's over quickly," Christoper Markus says. "It's like, 'Well, we have the Hulk on our side.' Oh, fine, then." Rather than Civil War, Hulk will be featured in a more fair match-up should heroes choose to brawl again, when he appears in 2017's Thor: Ragnarok.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters May 6, 2016.
