This Death Star Replica Can Actually Melt Metal

I have a very bad feeling about this.

When you think about things humanity just never ever needs to build, the Death Star is probably at the top of that list. Its ability to destroy planets would be redundant, after all, as we're doing that just fine on our own (zing! Eat it, humans!).

But that didn't stop Patrick Priebe and Laser-Gadgets from going fully operational with this Death Star replica, complete with a working superlaser, focusing several individual lasers together to warp and melt metal.

This isn't going to exactly blow up Rebel bases, but it sure is a heck of a DIY project. Just be very careful if you do this yourself, don't go melting your LEGO Millennium Falcon or Hasbro Helicarrier hanging from your ceiling on accident.
