A new poster for the live-action version of The Jungle Book coming this April from Disney was released Thursday afternoon. Disney tweeted out the image.
The poster gives a good, forward-facing view of Mowgli and the primary animals in the film, including Baloo the bear, Bagheera the Panther, King Louie, Shere Khan, and Kaa. Raksha the wolf-mother of Mowgli stands in the back with her other cubs, perched atop a cliff.
The Jungle Book hits theaters April 15, 2016, directed by Jon Favreau. The entire film was shot with young actor Neel Sethi twice - once recording his live-action performance, and once with him covered in motion-capture tech. All of the jungle landscapes and animal performances use advanced CGI, Favreau revealed at D23 Expo in 2015. Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong'o, Scarlett Johansson, and Christopher Walken lead the all-star voice cast.
