LEGO Announces Massive Batman 66 Batcave Set

LEGO has been going above and beyond with its sets catering to us geeks, lately. First they had a gigantic Deathstar, then the 2500 piece Tumbler from The Dark Knight, followed by a humongous Helicarrier with Age of Ultron, and then a whole line of epic Star Wars: The Force Awakens sets. Now, the building block manufacturers have outdone themselves with a set based on the 1966 Batcave.

The new set (76052) will include 2,526 pieces, several of which will be used to make up its nine included minifigures. With the set, fans get to build, display, and play with Batman, Robin, Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Alfred Pennyworth, The Joker, Catwoman, The Riddler, and The Penguin!

Inside the constructed Batcave are two Batpoles for Batman and Robin to slide down, a helipad, Bat-gadgets, a helipad, a classic Batmobile and a Batcopter! The details featured in the set are endless.
