Now your smartphone can show off its Pokemon fandom in style. The Japanese manufacturer Kitan Club has unveiled designs for a new set of Pokemon themed sleeping bags specifically for smart phones. Measuring about six inches long, the sleeping bags don't have any practical use, but they will keep your smartphone warm when you put it to sleep at night.
The Pokemon sleeping bags are only available in Japan is special capsule toy machines and can be purchased for 400 yen ($3.40 in US dollars) a piece. So far, Kitan Club has released designs for four different sleeping bags, each with a different Pikachu theme, and there's a fifth "mystery" design that Pokemon fans can also buy.
The miniature sleeping bags are just another part of Pokemon's 20th anniversary celebration. So far, Nintendo has announced re-releases of the original Pokemon games for the Nintendo 3DS, a new Pokken Tournament fighting game, the Pokemon Go mobile app, a slew of legendary Pokemon distributions beginning next month, a new TCG expansion and plenty of new merchandise. Nintendo is also promoting Pokemon with a special commercial that will air during the Super Bowl.
