Deadpool Beauty Pageant & Fan Screening Event Announced

Prior to Deadpool's release, fans in the New York area are getting a special treat.

On February 8 at the AMC Empire 234 on West 42nd Street in New York City, fans are invited to come out dressed as Deadpool for a special advanced screening of the movie and the Deadpool Beauty Pageant. 10 fans dressed in the best Deadpool costumes will be selected to walk down the red carpet and earn VIP seating inside the theater.

Fans who show up out of costume are more than welcome to join the festivities and screening, as well.

Admission is, however, not guaranteed for anyone. Final admission will be granted on a "first come, first served" basis. In addition, Deadpool's "R" rating means that anyone under 17 will have to be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian to attend the event and screening.

The event begins at 5:30 PM. You will have to register for the event prior to showing up, so do so, and show up early!

Deadpool hits theaters February 12.
