If you've ever had the misfortune of having your wisdom teeth extracted you can surely relate to how out of sorts this young Deadpool fan, Mariah Boyle, felt after her trip to the dentist. She was in such a state of confusion from the medication that she genuinely believed that she had missed the release of Deadpool. She was momentarily heartbroken. Her mom, Rita, soon put her mind at ease as she explained that the film hadn't come out yet.

Thankfully, this precious moment was captured on video (see below) by Rita and it ended up getting the attention of the film's star, Ryan Reynolds. As a show of solidarity, he sent Mariah a funny image with his mouth stuffed with cotton gauze. Oh, and he also invited her to join him in New York City for the fan event.

"Mariah Boyle, am I the only one who thinks the tooth fairy is a giant f--king stalker?" Reynolds wrote. "I mean seriously, who leaves two tickets to the Deadpool premiere under your pillow? And by the way, Rita, your breakfast casserole looks divine! Please bring some to New York."

Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool hits theaters on Feb. 12, 2016.
