Ghostbusters Announcement Trailer Released

Ghostbusters 1

There's something strange coming to your neighborhood.

Sony has released the first announcement trailer for Ghostbusters from director Paul Feig, teasing a full trailer on March 3.

You can check it out below.

Feig and star Melissa McCarthy appeared on Saturday Night Live last night, which led some to believe there was a trailer coming. In Ghostbusters II, a psychic being interviewed by Bill Murray's Peter Venkman suggested that the world will end on February 14, 2016.

Valentine's Day. Bummer.

  1. I would not pay a plugged nickel to see this trash - its a slap in the face to the original movie, Harold Ramis is rolling over in his grave

You do realize that A LOT of the original actors from the old movies are going to be in this new movie right?

No he isn't. He was involved with the film up until his death. Bill Murray is the ONLY one who wasn't interested. Don't get me wrong, I'm not interested in this movie because I don't like 3/4 of the stars, but Ramis was fine with this sequel happening.

  3. Actually, I understood that Bill Murray makes a cameo in this just like Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts (I think..?).

  4. Give me a break.  I bet once if it gets good reviews you'll be watching.  Harold Ramis had better things to occupy his time in heaven.
