Hideo Kojima has shared a photo on Twitter of himself with The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus.
Kojima and Reedus were both involved with Silent Hills, a planned reboot of Konami’s Silent Hill franchise. The project was cancelled and Kojima has since left the company to open his own studio, Kojima Productions.

Kojima writes that he is filling Reedus in on the new studio, perhaps indicating plans to work together in the future. Fans shouldn’t jump to any conclusions though. Kojima has been on something of a world tour visiting other game studios and colleagues. It is possible that he was just taking an opportunity to catch up with a friend.
The next stop on Kojima’s tour is likely the annual DICE Summit, where he will be inducted into the Academy of Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame during the DICE Awards Ceremony. The summit kicks off this Wednesday, Feb. 17.
