Last night's Season Six midseason premiere of AMC's The Walking Dead is thus far the highest-rated episode of the series on IMDb.
With nearly 600,000 votes by IMDb users, "No Way Out" rates an 8.6 overall out of 10 in the site's weighted averages. In straightforward rankings not affected by the "curve," it clocks in at a 9.9/10.
"IMDb publishes weighted vote averages rather than raw data averages. Various filters are applied to the raw data in order to eliminate and reduce attempts at vote stuffing by people more interested in changing the current rating of a movie than giving their true opinion of it," explains the site. "The exact methods we use will not be disclosed. This should ensure that the policy remains effective. The result is a more accurate vote average."
Here at ComicBook.com, "No Way Out" is the highest-rated episode of the series, as well, with 4.88 out of 5 -- but with less than fifty votes in our relatively new ranking system. You can make your voice heard below.
