During filming for the latest episode of The Walking Dead, Norman Reedus didn't injure himself fighting off zombies, jumping off his bike, or some other crazy stunt. The evildoer that caused him to bleed? A vending machine.

During a scene he had to reach into a vending machine, and cut his finger on the glass. Turns out he has a habit of getting hurt on set. When he spoke to Dalton Ross (via EW), he had this to say.

"Why am I always getting hurt?" Reedus asked later, rhetorically. "I get hurt all the time. I feel like I should have like football pads on at all times, even when I'm just walking around."

That's pretty much how I've felt my entire life. I'm always running into things. At least he was having a good time while filming. This episode in particular sees him and Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) finally getting some onscreen time together.

"He and I have a very special episode, the two of us," says Reedus. "Those two characters really rely on each other, and they are kind of at their best when they're back-to-back fighting, and we see that again. That comes back up. They become the same sort of duo that they were way back when. So when you see everything that goes down in the second half, there's a definite camaraderie there that's being reunited, and it's nice to see. It was fun to play as well."

Can't wait to see the episode, but just take it easy Norman, for our sakes.
