Actor Zachary Quinto (American Horror Story, Star Trek Franchise) sat down with Stephen Colbert last night and shared some thoughts on icon Leonard Nimoy.

We actually lost Leonard a year ago on the 27th of this month, so much love to him and his family of course always, but I've never met somebody actually that so fully embodied a sense of fulfillment in their life. I really haven't. He was such a tremendous artist and philanthropist and generous person, and he was so intelligent. I miss him all the time, and I really miss him so much at this point obviously, marking the anniversary of his passing, but he was one of the greatest gifts that my career has brought into my personal life for sure

Very kind words from Quinto, and that seemed to be the general impression that people who met him and worked with him had as well. Nimoy's wife, Susan Bay, has also been supportive of Quinto, as she showed up to the premiere of his new play, Smoke Fall.

Zachary Quinto will reprise Nimoy's iconic role as Spock in the upcoming Star Trek Beyond.
