Let Screen Crush's 1995 trailer for Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice transport you all the way back to the heyday of trailer voiceovers. Back then, most previews of upcoming blockbusters had a gravelly-voiced narration and began with clichéd lines like "In a time," and "In a world."

To give the trailer even more of a weathered feel, Screen Crush chose to use Elliot Goldenthal's Grammy-nominated Batman Forever (1995) score and intentionally lowered the quality of the footage to that of a VHS copy.

In Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs.
