Piracy Concerns Delay Batman V Superman Release In Russia

Folks in Russia will not have as many screenings to attend on Thursday for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, due to issues with piracy.

Though there will still be early screenings in Moscow and a few other cities, a large portion won't have access to them. Warner Bros. has decided that Batman V Superman will open in those cities, including Yekaterinburg and Kazan, Friday at noon.

It is suspected that the cities without a Thursday screening had previous incidents of piracy, and Warner Bros. isn't taking any chances this time around, especially not with a film that needs to make such a big impact on the box office.
