The Walking Dead: Who Is The Man In Combat Gear?

Warning! Spoilers for the fifteenth episode of The Walking Dead's sixth season follow!

In Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead, titled, "East," Rick and Morgan went on a hunt for Carol. They did they best to track her down but before they were able to find her, they encountered a man wearing combat gear.

The man in combat gear is almost certainly a Savior, despite what Morgan may say he believes. It's also not unlikely that Morgan, in fact, believes the man is a Savior and is afraid to let Rick get near him.

It's clear he is no good, though, because the bodies leading up to the farm were freshly murdered. No one else was around so that leaves only one suspect: the man in the combat gear.

Also consider the fact that the weapon he was using was one which we saw at the Hilltop a few weeks ago. We know the Saviors have taken countless supplies from the people living up there so it was likely one of their weapons, just like the men who attacked Carol earlier in the episode were flaunting. Simply another indication that this man is a Savior and up to no good.

The Walking Dead has one episode remaining in its sixth season, airing Sunday at 9 PM ET on AMC.All of that said, The Walking Dead comics have shown off this type of armor before and it hails from a community we haven't seen yet. The soldiers of Ezekial's base, The Kingdom, wear armor consistent with what this man appeared to be wearing. Then again, there is the possibility of a Savior wearing the armor after a trade for mercy, much like the Hilltop has been forced into.
