In a look at concept art for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Youtuber "Mr. Sunday Movies" gives viewers a glimpse at what might have been, as well as what we'll see in the extended cut of the film.

The art shows earlier looks at Doomsday and Lex Luthor, as well as alternate fight scenes between Batman and Superman, and between the assembled trinity of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman and the hulking villain. There's also a different take on the Bat-Armor, much more like what's been seen in the New 52 than in the pages of a Frank Miller comic.

As for the deleted scenes, he says the extended cut will see Jenna Malone's scenes added back in, as well as scenes that "flesh out the story." That means longer Batman warehouse fight sequences, showing us some of Clark Kent's investigation of Batman in Gotham, and more.

Speaking of that investigation in Gotham, perhaps that's where two Bat-villains were originally going to come in, as he says both The Riddler and The Joker were in earlier versions of the script, though their cuts came fairly early, as they stole too much focus.

Check out the video for a nice tease of what's to come in the eventual R-Rated Batman v Superman home release.
