Happy Birthday! Sarah Michelle Gellar Turns 39 Today

Today is actor Sarah Michelle Gellar's birthday.

Forever known to fans as television's Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Michelle Gellar starred in Joss Whedon's beloved vampire-hunting series for seven years.

After Buffy, Michelle Gellar still found the bulk of her work in the horror genre. She starred in Cruel Intentions, The Grudge & The Grudge 2, and even the live-action Scooby-Doo films as Daphne (that last one may be a stretch, but we're sure someone found it scary).

Michelle Gellar has also performed a number of voice acting roles, including parodies of Sarah Conner and Daphne Blake in Robot Chicken and as the Seventh Sister on Star Wars Rebels. She made the jump back to television with The Crazy Ones, and will be reprising her role as Kathryn Merteuil in the Cruel Intentions TV movie that will air sometime this year.
