Happy Birthday! Robbie Amell Turns 28 Today

Today is actor Robbie Amell's birthday.

An experienced television actor, Amell is best known to comic book fans as the DC Comics character Firestorm on The CW's The Flash. As Ronnie Raymond, Amell plays the younger half of the Firestorm matrix.

Amell's other notable projects include the science fiction series The Tomorrow People, 1600 Penn, and Revenge. He recently had a starring role in the romantic comedy feature film The DUFF. A minor, but interesting detail about Amell is that he is the cousin of actor Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen/The Arrow on The CW's Arrow. Most recently he and Stephen went to Kickstarter to get their short film Code 8 funded, so it could be later made into a feature film. The project successfully met its goal.
