EA Announces Star Wars Day Perks For Battlefront And The Old Republic

May the 4th is known by many as Star Wars Day. With EA being so heavily invested in the Star Wars franchise, they've decided to offer fans a few perks in celebration of the yearly occasion.

For Star Wars: Battlefront (via Gamespot), players can grab a free bundle of, wait for it, 4,444 credits. All you have to do is log in. In addition, a new Hutt Contract will also be available for players, which acts as sort of a bounty system for the game. If you haven't given the game a chance, you can hop on the PC version to try out a free 4-hour trial, but sans any DLC.

If you are an Old Republic fan, you can actually log in now and experience the Knight of the Fallen Empire expansion for free, all the way up until May 30th. If you log in before May 4th you'll also be eligible to receive an M4-16 Zakuulan Astromech Droid mini-pet, which you can see in the image above.

Last but not least, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes players are eligible for a 25% discount on crystals, and during the time-frame of April 30th to May 5th, a rotating list of modes will offer double rewards.
