Spoiler Warning: This article contains spoilers for the "Home" episode of Game of Thrones.

After tonight's episode of Game of Thrones, Kit Harington finally broke his silence on the series. Up until tonight, Harington had been insisting that his character Jon Snow was dead, but as viewers realized tonight, he wasn't exactly telling the whole story.

In an interview with EW, Harington said, "I'd like to say sorry for lying to everyone. I'm glad that people were upset that he died. I think my biggest fear was that people were not going to care. Or it would just be, 'Fine, Jon Snow's dead.' But it seems like people had a, similar to the Red Wedding episode, kind of grief about it. Which means something I'm doing — or the show is doing — is right."

Harington will also be appearing on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, which will be revealed on Monday morning.

Game of Thrones airs on Sunday nights at 9 PM ET on HBO.
