Chris Pratt recently launched an Omaze campaign to raise money to build a teen center in his hometown of Lake Stevens, WA. Inspired by the campaign and their hometown hero, the kids of the Lake Stevens Boys & Girls Club came together to build a rocket ship. The Guardians of the Galaxy star surprised them on their maiden voyage with a live special greeting and some yummy ice cream.

All donations of $10 or more benefit the Lake Stevens Boys & Girls Club, a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring and enabling all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

Set to the all-new sonic backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team's adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill's true parentage.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
