Looks like WWE is in the midst of doing some spring cleaning of their own as they have announced the release of Alex Riley, Hornswoggle, and Zeb Coulter this morning.

Riley, was a contestant of the second season of NXT, and remained an active member of the roster competing against the likes of the Miz and other well-known midcard talent. He was used as the Miz's protégé, but eventually started to forge his own path as a singles competitor. He was last seen on NXT taking on Shinsuke Nakamura in a losing effort.

Hornswoggle, real name Dylan Mark Postl, was one of the most bizarre characters recently working in the WWE. In a world of John Cena's and supermen, Hornswoggle was billed as an actual leprechaun at first. After a last minute rebooking of Mr. McMahon's illegitimate child, who was originally scheduled to be Mr. Kennedy, Hornswoggle was put in that spot. He is also the last World Cruiserweight Champion while the title was under the WWE banner.

Lastly, Zeb Coulter, aka Dutch Mantel is a somewhat legend in the industry. Recently brought back as part of the Real Americans and then as one-half of MexAmerica and acted as the manager to the returning Alberto Del Rio.
