Fan Theory: Shiva The Tiger Easter Egg In The Walking Dead Season 6 Finale

A new fan theory is gaining some steam and it is regarding one of the most ferocious characters on The Walking Dead.

Some Walking Dead fans are claiming that in The Walking Dead season six finale, a paw print was seen in the ground, indicating that Ezekiel's pet tiger Shiva has recently stomped that ground. Backtracking - Ezekiel is a yet-to-be introduced character who leads a yet-to-be introduced community called the Kingdom. Shiva is his trustee and protective pet tiger.

In the scene, Morgan finds a horse after helping the man (whose look indicates he is from the Kingdom) in combat gear escape Rick's gunfire. After catching a ride on it, the injured Savior who is hunting for Carol is seen walking through some wooded areas and in the mud on the ground is a giant paw print, as the theory claims.

More likely is that the paw print is actually a hoof print and the Savior was using the prints to track Morgan on his horse. Fans are claiming that if it were a hoof print, it's going in a different direction than the man is walking.

Also backing the theory is a zombie which was panned over and appeared to have been mauled by a tiger. These claims seem even less credible, seeing as walkers have been dispatched in almost every way imaginable, including having their head smashed in a car's trunk. Sure, Shiva may have slashed the walker's face but that's not the only way it could have gotten such a brutal beatdown.

The Kingdom, Ezekiel and Shiva have all been teased by the show's on screen story and its showrunners behind the scenes but no confirmation has come yet. Last I heard from sources involved with the show was that they are "trying" to make Shiva work on the show.
