Trailer Mix is a weekly series from Mashable Watercooler that re-imagines your favorite film trailers as entirely different genres, and for this week's installment, they've re-cut Steven Spielberg's 1982 film E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial as a '90s sitcom.

To enhance that '90s sitcom-feel, they've used the classic theme song from Perfect Strangers, a television series that ran from 1986-1993 and starred Larry Appleton (Mark Linn-Baker) and Balki Bartokomous (Bronson Pinchot).
