The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel, Out of the Shadows, is now playing in theaters. In it, Arrow star Stephen Amell steps into the iconic vigilante role of Casey Jones. While Amell is still humbly hoping to see the movie succeed at the box office this weekend before thinking too far ahead, he is willing to admit that he would like to fight more crime with a hockey stick in the future.

"Of course, I'd be interested," Amell says when ComicBook.com asked if he would be interested in a standalone Casey Jones film. He has signed on for multiple films in the franchise so the best chance at such a film happening is by fans crying out for it.

More specifically, Amell already has a bit of vision carved out for the potential Casey Jones flick. "I think that if we did it, first of all, it's gotta be New York City," Amell explains. "And by New City, I mean Alphabet City on the island of Manhattan. Casey is not a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle so he can't fight on a Technodrone thousands of feet above New York City. He's gotta fight on the streets. It'd be really cool to see a street level, crime fighter, vigilante story that we could maybe do on a stripped down budget. Lots of hand to hand fun fights, action, comedy, all that stuff. It'd be really cool!"

Based on what Amell has heard from fans of the Turtles franchise so far, they're loving the new movie. "The fans have enjoyed it," he explains, before going on to say that their opinion is all which really matters.
