While there's still a week left in production, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is starting to wrap its actors and may be planning to leave its primary home in Atlanta.

That's according to a pair of social media posts: one from star Dave Bautista and one from director James Gunn.

Bautista's post indicates that he's "Almost finished filming Guardians of the Galaxy 2 in Atlanta!! One more day to go." Some fans have taken that to mean the film itself is almost done in Atlanta, although that's not a given, since Gunn revealed that another of the film's principal actors, Zoe Saldana, has completed production and left him with a parting gift:

It could just as easily, then, be that the film is going to shoot in Atlanta until the last day, and that it's Bautista, and not the film, that's done in Atlanta in the next day or so.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is in production and principal photography now for a 2017 release. The entire principal cast and director James Gunn return from the first chapter. They're joined by Sylvester Stallone, Kurt Russell, Debicki, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, and more. At this point, most of the new actors' roles are unknown and/or mysterious.

Gunn has also said that, aside from Peter Quill, there will be no major characters in the film of human ancestry, thus presumably cutting out those persistent "Avengers cameo" rumors.
