Dope director Rick Famuyiwa has only officially been the new director for The Flash - that's the Ezra Miller-starring March 2018 big screen release, not the small-screen incarnation on The CW, but he's already getting to work.

Not too long ago, the director shared his impressive pile of The Flash reading. Now? He's spending a little time with the film's stars.

Yesterday, Famuyiwa released a photograph of himself with Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher, who play Barry Allen/The Flash and Vic Stone/Cyborg, respectively, in the DC Extended Universe.

From context, it seems that the newly-hired Famuyiwa is in London to visit one of the locations where Zack Snyder is filming Justice League Part One.

Look who I "ran" into on the streets of London. 😉

While little is known about any of the upcoming DC Comics movies, there have been a number of reports that Cyborg and The Flash, being the young members of the team and the ones not born with their abilities, will form a personal bond in the forthcoming Justice League Part One, which will carry over to The Flash, where Cyborg will have a role as well.

Seth Grahame-Smith, the author and screenwriter of Pride & Prejudice & Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, wrote The Flash movie script, based on a treatment by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (The Lego Movie, 21 Jump Street), and was originally set to make his directorial debut with The Flash, but he left the project near the end of April due to creative differences with the studio. It is believed that Grahame-Smith's script will still be used by Famuyiwa.

Famuyiwa's other film credits include The Wood (1999), Brown Sugar (2002), and Talk to Me (2007).

The Flash is in pre-production now for a March 23, 2018 release.
