After announcing a new trailer for Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children would be released June 20th, 20th Century Fox has revealed the newest look at the film.

The new trailer details director Tim Burton's archetypal work as it shows plenty of the titular peculiarity, like a mouth growing out of a little girl's head, an invisible boy, and plenty of visual effects extravaganzas.

Based off Ransom Rigg's best-selling novel, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children had its film rights optioned backed in 2011 with 20th Century Fox buying the story. Pleased with the film's progress, fans of the novel then became more excited when news broke that legendary director Tim Burton (Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas) had signed on to helm the film while Jane Goldman (Kick-Ass, Stardust) was recruited to adapt a screenplay.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children wrapped filming last year, and 20th Century Fox wasted no time in promoting the film. Just this past week, the studio uploaded a slew of character posters to the official Twitter for Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. 20th Century Fox also gave fans a glimpse of film earlier this year when it surprised them with trailer on March 15th.

The first trailer teased fans with a synopsis which can be read below:

From visionary director Tim Burton, and based upon the best-selling novel, comes an unforgettable motion picture experience. When Jake discovers clues to a mystery that spans alternate realities and times, he uncovers a secret refuge known as Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. As he learns about the residents and their unusual abilities, Jake realizes that safety is an illusion, and danger lurks in the form of powerful, hidden enemies. Jake must figure out who is real, who can be trusted, and who he really is.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children hits theaters September 30th.
