Following last night's Game of Thrones, fans are heralding the episode as one of the best of the series given its depiction of the all-out battle between the North's bastards, Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton. With fans begging to see the series' most vicious villain gone, Game of Thrones finally delivered a violent and brutal death for the sadistic lord. And, unsurprisingly, Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) had lots to say about the episode's satisfying death.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Sophie gushed about the episode's final scene. She confessed that fans have been reaching out to her since Sansa controversially wed Ramsay last season by admitting that, "'Everyone is just saying, 'I hope you kill Ramsay.'"

For fans who were wanting Sansa to get revenge, they weren't disappointment with how the feuding lord exited the show. Defeated by Jon Snow's army, Ramsay is then eaten alive by his own starved hounds on Sansa's prompting. The scene brings an end to the traumatic relationship strung between Ramsay and her after their unwanted marriage placed Sansa in some unforgivably abusive situations. In fan's final look at Sansa before last night's episode ended, Sansa was seen watching Ramsay's bloody death before she turned away from the carnage smiling.

When Sophie was asked if she was pleased her character was the one who killed Ramsay, she said, "It was amazing! I really loved the idea of the Battle of the Bastards. And I was loving the idea of Jon killing Ramsay. But then I was like, no, Sansa needs her first kill and it has to be Ramsay. No one else but her. And when he basically says, 'He's yours.' I'm like, 'Yes!' She leaves him for dead, walks away doesn't even watch him die. It's such a great scene, so well written, and it's so great to be able to have my first kill."

However, Sophie did hint the final scene would also change Sansa like her relationship with Ramsay did. While Sansa's previous affection for Joffrey in past seasons was bad enough, her time spent with Ramsay is something which Sophie believes Sansa may never recover from. She said that, "With Joffrey it was different. He was a little boy and he was so angry at her all the time. Whereas with Ramsay there would be serenity, and then he would be such a bastard – in every sense of the word. He just gets under her skin, and he violated her in such a terrible way. He's imprinted on her, mentally and physically. She can never get that part of her back again."

With only one episode left of Game of Throne's sixth season, fans can only wait until Sunday, June 26th to see how the aftermath of the bastards' battle will affect Westeros and all of the North.
