When The Walking Dead season finale ended on a cliffhanger, many viewers were concerned that the reveal would be spoiled well before the Season 7 premiere. AMC and The Walking Dead showrunners have gone to great lengths to try to prevent that from happening, though. AMC threatened to sue a popular fan site that is well known for spoiling the show. As for the showrunners, they have shot multiple deaths and hinted that episodes were shot out of order.

Last night on Conan, Norman Reedus teased that the reveal will be "rougher than expected." That is saying quite bit, since in the comics, Negan bashed Glenn's head like Gallagher smashes watermelons.

CONAN: Walking Dead season ender, this amazing cliffhanger. And the story is that an important character is going to die. A very important character at the start of the next season. And that different endings have actually been shot to confuse everybody. Is that right?

NORMAN: They're going to great lengths not to spoil it.

CONAN: Right.

NORMAN: I'll say that. And it's like one of those things you ask for it you're going to get it. And, you know, it might be rougher than you were expecting.

CONAN: That's amazing.

NORMAN: It's hard core.

CONAN: OK. Well, the show has always been hard core. But it looks like now they're going to keep this promise. Do you know what's going to happen? I mean --

NORMAN: I do.

CONAN: You do know. OK. So you know -- because I don't know if I'm talking to a dead man now or not. I have no idea. You know but I don't know.

NORMAN: Yeah.

CONAN: Yeah.

NORMAN: I'm just going to keep it like that. I really like that job.

CONAN: Who wants you to keep that job? The impersonator.

NORMAN: Yeah. Yeah.

CONAN: He's going to be bummed out. If your character gets killed, he's in trouble.

NORMAN: I saw a picture of him. And I just thought man, I need new clothes. And I need to stop wearing the same minor thread T-shirt everywhere I go.

Ride with Norman Reedus follows actor and motorcycle enthusiast Reedus as he takes viewers on a ride on the open road to explore local biker culture and its history and celebrate some of the best and brightest collectors, mechanics and motorcycle craftsmen around the country. Each episode of Ride will begin in a different city where Reedus and his riding companion – a fellow actor, musician, friend, or local chopper fanatic who shares his passion for motorcycles – will journey to a new destination. Along the way, they will stop at various locales such as custom bike shops, tattoo parlors, collector's warehouses, or a roadside smokehouse… with plenty of time for unplanned detours and tire changes. The series will also showcase different types of motorcycles each week, including vintage, minis and cruisers.

Ride with Norman Reedus airs Sundays at 10/9c on AMC. The Walking Dead will return for its seventh season in October.
