Happy Birthday! Margot Robbie Turns 26 Years Old

It's time to wish Australia's Margot Robbie a happy birthday! The actress turns 26 today.

Born on July 2nd, Robbie was raised by her mother Sarie alongside three siblings in Queensland, Australia. Brought up by a single mother, Robbie has spoken of the minimal contact she keeps with her father as her family grew up in a rural farming community. Robbie studied drama from a young age and made the move to Melbourne to pursuing her acting career at only 17. There, she got her start in independent films before being cast in the popular soap opera Neighbours which earned the actress 2 Logi Award nominations. Soon, however, Robbie would move to the U.S. and find herself rocketing into international fame.

Coming to America, Robbie starred in ABC's Pan-Am before being introduced to a larger audience in About Time. However, Robbie became a household name after she co-starred in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. She's since starred in films like Focus and Z for Zachariah. The actress' upcoming films are also stirring up plenty of attention as she'll be portraying Jane Porter in The Legend of Tarzan and Harley Quinn in DC Entertainment's Suicide Squad.

With San Diego Comic Con coming up, fans are expecting to see plenty of Robbie's Suicide Squad character featured at the event. DC Entertainment is sure to hype the film alongside Warner Bros., and Robbie herself has spoken about how much she's come to love her fairly psychotic character. In an interview with Cineplex, she describe Harley as, "creepy, violent, crazy — all of the things that I aspire to be! No. It's the fun of living vicariously through someone who is doing things that I would never do in real life."
