Batman V Superman Ultimate Cut: Superman Featurette Released

DC and Warner Bros. have loaded their upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - The Ultimate Edition with a variety of special features, including a few basic primers to get new fans up to speed on the characters themselves.

The first of these 101 recaps involves the Man of Steel, Superman. While many are familiar with the concept of Superman, the recap is a good way to set the stage for those who only saw the previous Superman focused Man of Steel when it released in theatres back in 2013. It even lightly touches on the comics, but mostly focuses on the film universe origins of the character's internal conflict.

DC All Access will be releasing a 101 feature on the Dark Knight as well, and will also likely include featurettes on Wonder Woman and Lex Luthor. The digital version of Batman v Superman is already out, while the physical version launches on July 19th.

In addition to the 101 features, other extras will include Uniting the World's Finest, Gods and Men: A Meeting of Giants, The Warrior, The Myth, The Wonder, Accelerating Design: The New Batmobile Superman: Complexity & Truth, Batman: Austerity & Rage, Wonder Woman: Grace & Power Batcave: Legacy of the Lair, The Might and the Power of a Punch, The Empire of Luthor, and Save the Bats.
