If you aren't a fan of Michael Bay's previous work, then his latest Instagram post is probably not going to convert you.
It looks like things are going full speed on the set of Transformers: The Last Knight and it wouldn't be a Transformers film without vehicular mayhem and tons of explosions. Luckily enough, the team behind the film got the memo and are providing plenty of both.
In addition to all the exploding metal, the franchise is also bringing along a few new additions to the cast, including Sir Antony Hopkins, Isabella Moner, Laura Haddock, and the latest casting Santiago Cabrera. Fans of the series can also look forward to seeing some old favorites, including the return of Mark Wahlberg's Cade Yeager, along with Josh Duhamel, and Tyrese Gibson.
The returns don't stop at the humans, as Autobots like Bumblebee, Drift, and of course Optimus Prime are coming back as well. Don't forget Megatron either, though many think he will be working for Bay's vision of Unicron when he does finally resurface. Plus, we get new Transformers like the adorably designed Sqweeks, a beat up old Vespa that looks like a rugged Wall-E.
The film is in production now and is targeting a June, 23rd release.
