With great power comes a great workout routine...or is it the other way around?

Tom Holland, first introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Peter Parker earlier this year in Captain America: Civil War, has definitely been getting some physical training in for his next appearance as the web slinger. Currently on set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in Atlanta, the young actor is throwing a few punches with a trainer and the hard work appears to be paying off.

Spider-Man: Homecoming began shooting earlier this month in Atlanta, GA with Marvel affiliates gushing over Holland's work at Peter Parker/Spider-Man. James Gunn was vocal in his support as he openly took to social media to applaud the actor's work following Holland's visit to the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

In the past couple of weeks, Marvel and Sony have revealed numerous casting announcements as the film's productions heads underway. Currently, Spider-Man: Homecoming will star Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man following his cameo innCaptain America: Civil War. Marisa Tomei will reprise her role as Aunt May from the film as well while others such as Donald Glover, Abraham Attah, Michael Mando, Martin Starr, Michael Barbieri, Zendaya, Michael Keaton, Tyne Daly, Angourie Rice, and Tony Revolori are starring amongst others. Robert Downey Jr. will also appear in the film as the MCU's beloved Tony Stark/Iron Man.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is set for release July 7, 2017.
