A new Pokemon is coming to Pokken Tournament. Darkrai, the mythical dream-eating Pokemon, will be added to the Japanese arcade version of the game on July 20th along with Braixen, Garchomp and Shadow Mewtwo. Darkrai is classified as a "Technique" Pokemon, which means it has a unconventional attack style. You can check out Darkrai's introductory video below:

Some Pokken Tournament players had guessed Darkrai would be added to the game, as a recent datamine of the Wii U version of the game revealed data related to Darkrai, Empleon and Scizor. With Darkrai officially on the roster, it's likely that the other two will be added at a later date.

The new update will also feature "Mission Cards", which can be cleared to earn items and boosts.

Although the updates were announced for the arcade version only, it's likely we'll get Darkrai in the Wii U game either as a free update or as DLC at a later date.
