DC Comics took to YouTube to unveil its upcoming slate of Collectible figures and toys. A new video posted shortly before the DC Collectibles Panel at SDCC showcased new toys that will be released later this year and in 2017, including an amazingly detailed DC Bombshell line.

"Fans have been asking for Bombshells action figures for quite a while, and we're thrilled to introduce this new line in 2017" said Kevin Kiniry, vice president of DC Collectibles at DC Entertainment in a press release. Kiniry noted that the DC Bombshells began as a series of statues, but has recently spun off a popular digital comics and a month's worth of variant covers. DC will continue releasing DC Bombshells statues, including a new statue featuring Aquaman, the first male character in the line, as well as a series of busts later this year.

Other toys featured in the video are a series of new action figures based on the 1990s Superman: The Animated Series cartoon. Like the cartoon, the action figures are a spinoff of the popular action figure line based on Batman: The Animated Series, which have been steady sellers for DC despite the Batman cartoon ending over 20 years ago.

DC will also be producing new action figures based on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and the upcoming Suicide Squad movie, as well as new DCTV figures, including new Supergirl, Martian Manhunter and Firestorm toys. The company is also publishing a new series of DC Icons figures, including a two pack featuring Booster Gold and Blue Beetle.
