Warner Bros. has released over 9-minutes of behind-the-scenes footage from their upcoming comic book movie Suicide Squad, and, hands down, the best part is when Margot Robbie reveals Harley Quinn's jester costume.

It's something costume designer Kate Hawley teased during a Suicide Squad set visit.

"The Jester suit has such an amazing powerful quality to it. We've built it. We've built that and we actually put it on Margot and she looked amazing," Hawley said. While we won't see her in the suit in the film, there's "this homage made to that very garment."

It seems hard to believe, but this September will mark the 24-year anniversary of Harley Quinn's first appearance. The Joker's lovable sidekick was created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm and debuted in a 1992 episode of Batman: The Animated Series. She was only supposed appear in one episode, however, she became an overnight sensation and was quickly added as a series regular.

Over the decades her costumes have evolved quite a bit, but she originally wore a jester costume that was predominantly red and black. It included a form-fitting jumpsuit with diamond patterns, a dual-pronged jester hat, and white ruffled cuffs. Helping to conceal her identity, she wore a black domino mask and painted her face a ghostly-white, though the latter had more to do with matching The Joker's appearance.

It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world's most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government's disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren't picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it's every man for himself?

Written and directed by David Ayer based on the characters from DC Comics, the film stars Will Smith ("Ali"), Jared Leto ("Dallas Buyers Club"), Margot Robbie ("The Wolf of Wall Street"), Joel Kinnaman ("RoboCop") and Viola Davis ("The Help"). The cast also includes Jai Courtney ("Insurgent"), Jay Hernandez ("Takers"), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje ("Thor: The Dark World"), Ike Barinholtz ("Neighbors"), Scott Eastwood ("Fury"), Cara Delevingne ("Paper Towns"), Adam Beach ("Cowboys & Aliens"), and Karen Fukuhara in her feature film debut. It is produced by Charles Roven and Richard Suckle, with Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Colin Wilson and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.

Suicide Squad opens worldwide in 3D, and in 2D, and in select IMAX 3D theaters beginning August 5, 2016.
