Following a turbulent fourth season, The CW's Arrow officially dropped new footage of Season 5 during its San Diego Comic Con panel. The first look features some new and old faces, and now, fans have finally noticed that even Oliver Queen looks a little different. It looks like Star City's most famous vigilante has gotten himself some new threads.

About a minute into the video, fans can see that Green Arrow's outfit has sprouted some tough-looking sleeves. The hero's leather sleeves have been missing for a few seasons now as Arrow's production team clearly wanted to show off Stephen Amell's muscular arms. But, now, it seems the hero is returning to the original look he sported at the series' beginning which featured protective sleeves.

Fans obviously spotted the outfit change in the trailer, but it took some time for anyone to notice the difference as the scene in which the sleeves are seen shows a tense fight scene. Amell has promised that Arrow's next season will be a homecoming of sorts as the show revisits its roots. Hopefully, that news means fan will see some complex fight scenes this season which showcase Green Arrow's skills.

The teaser trailer has given fans hope that the show is ready to pull out of its recent slump that viewers have been very critical about. Season 5 seems like it'll find Oliver starting back at the beginning as he forms a new Team Arrow with rookie members such as Evelyn Sharp, Renee Ramirez, and Curtis Holt. Following the hero's defeat of Damien Darhk and loss of Laurel Lance, Oliver appears to be stuck at a crossroad. And, surely, his actions over the next season will establish where the vigilante's future is heading.

The trailer also had fans buzzing as the video ended with what appeared to be a clip of Ragman, a vigilante from the comics who crosses paths with Green Arrow. Entertainment Weekly reported that Joe Dinicol was cast to play the mysterious character not long ago, so the actor will be joining a long list of new cast members who'll debut in Arrow's next season.

Arrow will return to The CW on October 5th for its Season 5 premiere.
