There's truly is no stopping him now.

Long rumored to be returning to beef up the WWE roster after the brand split, former United States, Tag Team, and Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin was announced to be making his return to the WWE and will be featured on SmackDown! Live.


Benjamin has been praised by many, including WWE Hall of Famer announcer and one of the current voices of New Japan, Jim Ross as the "pound for pound best athelete" the WWE has ever seen.

Benjamin originally made himself known as being part of Team Angle which eventually springboarded into a singles career and became one of the best IC Champions of the past generation. He was released in by the WWE in 2010 and traveled to major independent promotions such as New Japan and Ring of Honor, capturing the ROH Tag Team Championship with Charlie Haas.
