Ben Affleck's New The Accountant Trailer Released Online

Warner Bros. has released the second full-length trailer for the upcoming action-thriller The Accountant, which stars Ben Affleck (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) and is directed by Warrior helmer, Gavin O'Connor.

This comes on the heels of the first trailer, which was released right around the release date of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, to increase on Affleck's higher online profile. It's likely not a coincidence that this second trailer came just days after Warner Bros. released the first official look at Justice League, which also features Affleck's Batman, during Comic Con International: San Diego last weekend.

Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) is a math savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Behind the cover of a small-town CPA office, he works as a freelance accountant for some of the world's most dangerous criminal organizations. With the Treasury Department's Crime Enforcement Division, run by Ray King (J.K. Simmons), starting to close in, Christian takes on a legitimate client: a state-of-the-art robotics company where an accounting clerk (Anna Kendrick) has discovered a discrepancy involving millions of dollars. But as Christian uncooks the books and gets closer to the truth, it is the body count that starts to rise.

The film also stars Anna Kendrick, J.K. Simmons (Justice League), Jon Bernthal (Daredevil), Jean Smart, Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Arrow), Jeffrey Tambor, and John Lithgow.

The Accountant will land in theaters on October 14th.
