The Walking Dead Season 6 Bonus Feature Shows How The Andersons Died

In a time where buying DVD sets of TV series is becoming obselete thanks to digital streaming conveniences popping up left and right, The Walking Dead is certainly giving fans a reason to pick up the DVD/blu-ray sets of its sixth season.

A new featurette from the upcoming DVD set of The Walking Dead season 6 takes you inside the heads of everyone behind the making of Jessie, Ron, and Sam's death scene from the midseason premiere which aired back in February. "Executing those moments are challenging," says Greg Nicotero. "That one in particular because we killed three people in the space of less than a minute and each death is different than the one before it."

"It's kind of an impossible scene," Rick actor Andrew Lincoln says.

"With Sam, we built soft zombie teeth so it looked like the teeth were sinking in and then they sprayed blood," Nicotero explains.

"I chop her arm off to release my son," Lincoln laughs. "It's just beyond insane." The arm on Jessie Anderson was a prop created by Nicotero's team so Lincoln could swing away at it and sever it and way he saw fit for the moment. "That's what I love about the show," Lincoln concludes. "There are no right or wrong answers."
