It is customary when celebrating one's birthday for the friends and family to break out into the Happy Birthday song, but it typically doesn't come from the set of The Walking Dead.

That's what happened to singer Demi Lovato though during her recent birthday bash. Lovato just turned 24 today, but her celebration was held on Friday night. During the festivities, the singer was sent a happy birthday video via Snapchat from Walking Dead stars Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) and Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) (via DailyMail).

The belted out the birthday tradition and Reedus added some style with a lion mask, because why not. It was probably a treat for Lincoln and Dixon to sing a happy song, as there doesn't seem to be much joy going around in the world of Walking Dead this season.

Not to be outdone, actor Josh McDermitt, who plays Eugene on the show, gave some birthday wishes that are, well, they're just very Eugene.

Lovato loved all of it, and can be heard laughing in the video. She posted to Twitter "I got the best birthday video sent from the cast of the walking dead and I'm s****** my pants." She expressed her excitement through constant emoji's during her snapchat cast as well.

In addition to her Walking Dead birthday video, the singer celebrated the occasion with a custom watermelon birthday cake, and with plenty of laser tag and air hockey. Lovato is currently on her Future Now tour with friend Nick Jonas, which is running through September 17th, when it lands at The Forum in Inglewood, California.

As for The Walking Dead, the hit show returns for its much anticipated seventh season on October 23rd. It's there that fans will finally find out just who will be leaving the group, courtesy of Negan.
