Happy Birthday! Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Turns 49 Years Old

Happy birthday, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje! The actor is celebrating his 49th birthday today.

Akinnuoye-Agbaje is best known for his role as Mr. Eko over a handful of seasons on ABC's LOST which ran from 2004 to 2010. Following LOST, Akinnuoye-Agbaje went on to star in several TV series and played small roles in some well-known films. Some of his best known credits include The Bourne Identity, The Mummy Returns and G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra. More recently, Akinnuoye-Agbaje appeared in Will Smith's Concussion and reunited with the actor for Suicide Squad earlier this year.

Suicide Squad, in which Akinnuoye-Agbaje was all but unrecognizable in the heavily made up role of Killer Croc, was not the actor's first go in the comic book movie business. In 2013, the actor appeared in Thor: The Dark World as the villainous Kurse in another role that required so much make-up and prosthetics it made him hard to recognize.

Akinnuoye-Agbaje was born on August 22, 1967 in Islington, United Kingdom. He is 49 years old today.
