With Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children set to hit theaters next month, fans are now getting their first listen of the film's end title track. "Wish That You Were Here" was released by Florence + The Machine earlier today, leaving fans breathless at the son's swelling structure.

Clocking in at more than six minutes, the song begins slowly with soft guitar plucks and solitary vocals from Florence Welch. The acoustic feel builds as piano chords join the melody before a forceful chorus hits with vibrato. The track's belting vocals introduce the powerful chorus by singing, "And I never minded being on my own / Then something broke in me and I wanted to go home / To be where you are / But even closer to you, you seem so very far."

The freely haunting track is currently streaming on the band's official VEVO channel, and the single will go up for sale tomorrow on sites like iTunes. Fans have reacted enthusiastically to the track, saying it pairs well with Miss Peregrine's Home. Florence Welch released the song alongside a short statement where she describes the track, saying it's "about the idea that love is a journey and a risk."

"Having been on tour, I've lived in a sort of magical time bubble, where the days almost blend together. It's amazing, but it comes at a cost — a cost of leaving the people you love behind for a year or two. You kind of feel like if you could sing a song into the wind, maybe the wind could take it to them in a way that you can't with a text or a call. You just want to send your love in a different way, in a way to somehow reach the unreachable," she said.

The singer's whimsical description sits easily alongside Miss Peregrine's Home considering the film's fantastical story. Based on Ransom Riggs' best-selling novels, the film will follow a young boy named Jake as his world gets turned upside-down after he discovers a mysterious island which a group of 'peculiar children' call home. If you're interested in checking out the film's official description, then you can read it below:

From visionary director Tim Burton, and based upon the best-selling novel, comes an unforgettable motion picture experience. When Jake discovers clues to a mystery that spans alternate realities and times, he uncovers a secret refuge known as Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. As he learns about the residents and their unusual abilities, Jake realizes that safety is an illusion, and danger lurks in the form of powerful, hidden enemies. Jake must figure out who is real, who can be trusted, and who he really is.

As for Florence + The Machine, "Wish That You Were Here" marks one of a few songs they've released as of late. Earlier this month, the band dropped three new songs which will be featured in Square Enix's Final Fantasy XV.
