Game Of Thrones' Robert Aramayo Joins Cast Of The Empty Man

This year, English actor Robert Aramayo had a pivotal role in Season 6 of HBO's high-acclaimed fantasy series Game of Thrones, playing a young Eddard "Ned" Stark (Sean Bean played the adult version) in a trio of episodes: "Oathbreaker," "Blood of My Blood," and "The Winds of Winter." What's next for him? Well, today, The Hollywood Reporter reports that Aramayo has landed a role in 20th Century Fox's The Empty Man, a feature film adaptation of Boom! Studios comic that's written by Eisner Award-winner Cullen Bunn and illustrated by Vanesa R. Del Rey.

The Empty Man will star James Badge Dale (Iron Man 3) and will be about an "ex-cop (Dale), plagued by the violent death of his wife and son, who battles to find a missing girl but soon discovers a sinister presence around him."

No details were provided on Aramayo's role.

Game of Thrones marked Aramayo's acting debut. He'll appear on the big screen for the first time when Nocturnal Animals, a thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Amy Adams, is released this November.

It's been one year since the first reported case of the Empty Man disease, and no drug has been able to slow its progress.
