In Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's early acting days, one of the first films in which he took on the starring role was 2003 action-comedy flick The Rundown. The movie was directed by Peter Berg, and now 13 years later, both Berg and The Rock want to make a sequel. The director even has an actor in mind for to star alongside Dwayne Johnson, Superbad actor Jonah Hill.

The original film featured Johnson as a bounty hunter charged with the task of tracking down his boss's mischievous son (Sean William Scott) out of the jungles of Brazil. Other actors that co-starred with Johnson and Scott on this wild adventure were Christopher Walken and Rosario Dawson. The movie was so fun that Berg has been working hard to get a sequel in the works for several years now.

Luckily for Berg, Dwayne Johnson would more than likely be on board for a sequel. However, Johnson has blossomed into the highest paid actor in Hollywood, so his schedule is a bit busier than it was back in 2003.

Berg himself revealed that he thinks that Wolf of Wall Street actor Jonah Hill would be the perfect on-screen complement to The Rock. When asked about The Rundown 2, Berg told Steve Weintraub from Collider: "We've been talking about it. You know, I wanted to do it with Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson. If I could get Jonah Hill, I'd do it tomorrow. If I could get Dwayne and Jonah Hill, I'd do it tomorrow."

Berg was then asked if it was even possible to get these highly sought after actors for the sequel. "Anything's possible," he replied. "We want to do it, it's just hard to get everybody, you know. It's on our minds. We actually wrote a script. But I want Jonah Hill, so reach out to Jonah. Pressure Jonah to do it. If Jonah Hill would do it, I'm in."

While it may be a bit of a wait before seeing Berg team up with Dwayne Johnson and possibly Jonah Hill, you can go check out the director's upcoming film Deepwater Horizon opening in theaters on September 30th.
