Emma Might Be Returning Soon To WWE

WWE Superstar Emma has been out of action since back in May, but now according to reports the star is just about ready to make her return to the squared circle.

On May 18th, Emma (real name Tenille Dashwood) ruptured a disc during a WWE live event, which required surgery. At the time she took things in stride, posting on her Twitter account "I'm pretty gutted about my injury, and of course, the timing! But all the love and support going into surgery Wednesday helps. Thanks! #RAW"

The timing was unfortunate, as she was finally gaining some traction on the main roster. After a few months rehabbing and recovering, the star was seen backstage during a WWE show in Baltimore, and reports are surfacing that she is hitting the road for WWE this week, and will be returning to the ring soon after (via CageSideSeats).

Since her injury, WWE has split into two rosters, RAW and Smackdown Live, and Emma could add a great deal to either group. Currently RAW features a fantastic rivalry between Sasha Banks and Charlotte, and they've implemented Bayley and Dana Brooke into the mix quite well. Paige will also be returning to the roster later this month.

As for Smackdown Live, they've also recently hit their stride, with an entertaining championship hunt that features Becky Lynch, Natalya, Alexa Bliss, Naomi, Carmella, and the recently returned Nikki Bella.

Depending on what route they take with Emma, who has been stellar when in a heel role, RAW might be the best place for her to go, where she could feud with Paige upon her return. If they went Smackdown, they could pair Emma with a rejuvenated Naomi and see where it goes.
